About ZD Carriers
Gear that goes the distance — designed in Illinois, built for people who travel with their hands full.
Why we started
ZD Carriers started after one too many trips ended with a wheel sheared off in baggage claim. The fabric was fine. The shell was fine. The cheap components were not. We set out to build travel gear where the hardware is specified as carefully as the styling — and priced so it stays a sensible buy for people who fly a few times a year, not just for road warriors.
Today our range covers seven categories, from overhead-bin carry-ons to compression packing cubes, all sharing the same build standards and the same two-year warranty.

Our build standards
Test the failure points first
Every prototype gets 5,000 handle cycles, a 12-mile rolling test on rough concrete, and a loaded drop test before it goes to production.
Specify parts, not marketing
Sealed dual-bearing spinners, coil zippers with metal pulls, and 1680D water-resistant linings — published on every product page.
Support that answers
A US-based team handles warranty claims directly. No ticket mazes, no third-party call center.

Where we are, and how to reach us
We operate out of Des Plaines, Illinois, minutes from O'Hare — which is also where most of our real-world testing happens. Orders ship from the same facility, so support and fulfillment sit in the same building.
